Grower’s Special
Designed for controlled feeding of container plants, trees, and shrubs, Grower’s Special contains slow release Nitrogen to reduce the risk of Nitrogen burn.
Container Plants
Apply one teaspoon per 6 inch pot and 2 tablespoons per square foot of soil in larger containers every 6 weeks during growing season. Sprinkle a light coating being careful not to pile fertilizer next to the stem.
Shrubs and Ornamentals
Early spring, use 1.5-2lbs per 100 sq. ft area under the drip-line. Apply again in fall, using 1lb per 100 sq. ft. of bedding.
Trees
Feed early spring and late fall by applying 3lbs per inch of trunk diameter. Spread evenly under the drip line. Water in after application.
