Rose Food
Southern-Gro Fertilizer’s Rose Food is meticulously crafted to cater specifically to the unique nutritional needs of roses, promoting lush green foliage and the essential new growth vital for developing stunning blooms. Single Plantings
Before bud sprout, spread 8oz around each established bush about 1/2 inch from the main stem. Water well. Make a second application after first blooms, and a third in mid-summer. In warm climates, a fourth application can be made in late summer to early fall. Water well after application.
New Beds
Mix 2 to 3 lbs per 100 sq. ft. of prepared bed. A second application can be made after the appearance of the first flowering. Water well.
Established Beds
Before bud sprout in the spring, apply 2 to 3 lbs over 100 sq. ft. Work lightly into soil. Try not to damage shallow roots. Water in after each application. Make a second application after the first round of blooms had passed. A third application can be made in mid-summer. In colder climates, DO NOT feed past mid-summer to reduce the risk of late growth and frost damage. In warm climates, a fourth feeding will promote flowers throughout the fall.
